When we say ‘wireless phones’ today, we are no longer talking about those cordless, land line, home phone. Instead the term ‘wireless’ pertains to mobile of cellular devices. 3G technology became available in 2001 in Japan, and then, it spread throughout the world. Then a few years later, 2010, 4G was born.
